Acorn is very shy and scared of a lot of things. She likes to nap on the bed in a smaller room. She does enjoy spending time with her family, but she is visibly uncomfortable. She would do best in a home with other dog companions to help her learn to be more confident. Acorn is currently in the home with a 5 year old and a cat and she does great with both. She is not food aggressive, or aggressive in any way. She has never shown any signs of biting or even growling. She has wonderful house manners and will not have accidents if taken out on a consistent schedule, but she does not indicate when she needs to go out. Even though she is 50% poodle (and 50% lab according to her DNA test!) she DOES shed, so she would not be a good fit for allergy sufferers. This girl needs a home with someone who will be very patient with her and continue to work with her on gaining confidence in receiving love.
