Babe

Hi! My Name Is Babe

Babe’s foster mom writes: I love this big baby! Babe came to us frightened, and didn’t want anything to do with humans. I thought, oh my, this is going to be alot of work. She also came along with her two babies Porky and Petunia (already adopted) so her initial “attitude” was probably just her protecting her kiddos. But low and behold, in a matter of a couple weeks she trusted me to love on her, pick up her pups and she also became friends with my dogs. She has become the friendliest and most loyal foster I have had. She is a playful 2 year old who needs a playmate at least her size. She is fully potty trained and walks on a leash well. She rides in car very well, and likes to sit in front seat. She knows “sit” and is learning “off” because she likes to jump up on you. She would do best in a house with older children. She is slow to warm up to men, so men in the home must be patient - she eventually does just fine. Babe gets along with my indoor cat but there is some tension between her and my outdoor cat so a home with no cats is probably best. Any family that adopts Babe will get a wonderful addition to their family. Two week trial adoption is encouraged.
