Barbara’s foster mom says that Barbara is a very sweet little girl but still shy around humans. She is much less scared than she was just a couple of months ago and will actually stop and let you pick her up now but she is still timid. When we have company over she does like to come out and be around the people so she is trying to come out of her shell it will just take a little more time.
Barbara LOVES dogs! She seems to get along with all size dogs but would probably prefer a household without a high energy dog.
She does well on leash. She’s great in the car and is mostly very quiet.
She prefers not to be left alone in a room. She’s fine being in her crate alone but gets anxious if she’s left alone in a room too long. She Loves being outside, especially with other dogs. She likes to explore but does come when called.
I think Barbara would do best with other dogs because she just loves being them, especially if they’re low key. She will need patient home and would love for her humans to spend lots of time with her.
