Potty Training Progress: Benjamin always potties when he is taken out, but will not ask to go outside. It seems he is really starting to catch on to potty training. He likes to go in and out the dog door with the resident dogs.
Other behavioral info:
Very friendly and loving with his foster Mom. He loves to play with the resident 60+ lb male standard poodle. He holds his own and does not get bullied. He is also respectful of the resident pup that doesn't have interest in playing with him.
Great things about HHR Benjamin::
Benjamin is a sweet, loving poodle. He's still a puppy so he is learning every day. He loves to go outside, but he also really enjoys the A/C indoors. He still takes lots of puppy naps after playtome. Benjamin sleeps all night in his kennel, but would sleep beside his humans’ bed, if permitted. He is going to make a great family dog or solo companion. He is just a great pup all around; smart, sweet and a little bit of spunk!
Other things to know about HHR Benjamin:
He is good in the bath. Stands patiently to be blown dry and brushed. Doesn't mind the clippers much. He still has his puppy coat.
Benjamin still needs obedience training and leash work, but he is smart and eager to learn.
