Cocoa

Hi! My Name Is Cocoa

We're happy to tell you that Cocoa has a new furever home.

When Cocoa first came into foster care, all she wanted to do was sleep because I knew I was in a safe and loving home that would allow me to relax for once.

Her favorite place to be is her foster mom's lap, she has to be picked up though because with those little stubby legs there is no way she could jump up there on her own. At times she may get a bit scared and walk away, but her foster mom will get on the floor with her to show her it is okay to come back. Her second favorite place is snuggling in bed with her foster mom and foster siblings. She sleeps all night long until the alarm goes off.

She gets along with her foster siblings, but when it is feeding time, it is best she is given her space. She will give a little bark if her foster siblings get to close, but if they are all eating at the same time it is no problem. She does eat soft and hard food mixed together with water twice a day. She loves soft treats and on Sunday mornings she is really treated with a scrambled egg.

Potty training is still a work in progress, especially since she is not sure about walking on a leash. She is potty pad trained though so no real messes to clean up. She is crate trained when there is no one home and does not complain about being in there.

Foster mom says she has the cutest wiggle walk and her tail goes straight up like an antenna.
