“Big boy with a little heart” Prepare your hearts ladies and gents...Daedalus is ready for adoption! Daedalus is a big needy boy who loves rough housing and enjoying the outdoors (as long as it’s not raining or too cold). He was part of the November 2020 rescue. His face says it all “stubborn but childish”. When Daedalus first moved in, he was a little bit overweight causing a bit of issue with his legs and breathing. However, he has gotten to a good weight and has been enjoying the yard (love watching him have little zooms). As for his health, it is predicted that he will eventually have arthritis in his back legs and need a couple of surgeries to help with his nose and eyesight. Daedalus is potty and crate trained. He may need a family that isn’t away from home too long during the day. As for going on walks, he does really well on the leash but sometimes may need a little nudge to get him started. On the other hand, if he is familiar with where he is heading to, he tends to add a little bit of a pep in his step. Daedalus is great with other dogs, as long as they are understanding that when he bumps into them it’s only because he’s excited. Because of his arthritis, his future home would require a yard and a house with minimum to no stairs. Daedalus is a big boy. He wants to play as if he’s a pupper, but sometimes he isn’t aware of his size and weight so can get a little rough. But all he really needs is to be loved up!
