Ruth (AKA Abbie, she seems to respond to that name), is a very shy and timid girl. She is very slow to trust and will continue to need support and patience as she adjusts to her new forever. Children make her nervous but she does not show any aggression, she just simply wants her space.
A fenced yard is preferred for her since she wants to have her space and freedom. That said, she has been working really hard on leash training and is making some great progress. Meaning potty training is slow going but definitely getting much better.
Ruth would really like to have a similarly sized companion in the home to help her learn how to be a pup. The first few nights in her foster home she had no idea how sweet it is to sleep in a big bed, so she preferred sleeping in her crate or on the couch in the living room. Today, she soaks up all the snuggles in bed with her fur siblings and foster momma.
