Samwise

Samwise is a snuggly playful guy. He wants to be where the people are. He loves a good window seat or a lap. He’s sleeping all night in his crate with no problems or whining. He is doing great with his potty training with a consistent routine. As always, dogs usually regress a little when in a new environment, but he should remember his house manners quickly. Samwise is a recent puppy mill rescue, he’s found out that he loves attention and ear scratches. For the first couple of weeks in his foster home, Sam didn’t want to share all this newfound love and attention and he struggled to figure out his place in the pack. He was a little rude to the male resident dogs but was never bothered by the female. Since settling in and being neutered, there have been no more problems. Potential adopters with male dogs should have patience and understanding about pack mentality and be prepared for slow and supervised introductions. Samwise is looking a permanent place to call home so he can learn the ways of your house and show you his big corgi personality!
