Behaviors- HHR Carly is timid, but gaining confidencd with each new day of freedom!

Cats: Unknown

Other dogs: Carly is fine with her resident foster brother a small dog male havanese. She is not overly interested but not disinterested either; he isn’t very playful or engaging with her. She may do very well with a confident pup that can show her how to dog.

Children: Not tested but don't expect any difficulty as long as children are gentle with her. She is startled by loud noises, so kids could be too much for her.

Adults: Prefers Mom, who is a dog person; she engages with her foster dad, but he isn’t really a dog person.

Potty Training Progress: Drastic progress! Carly use to be terrified of going outside, but is now going out regularly to potty. Potty training is a work progress still, but she is starting to get it.

Other behavioral info: When Carly eats she eats very fast, she gulps down her food quickly. She is eating soft canned food currently.

Great things about Carly: Carly is a sweetheart and a real cuddlebug. She is looking for her furever person who is patient and willing to cuddle with her on the couch. She thrives on praise and positive affirmation, so having someone home a lot to bond with would be great for her.
Carly is a good eater, but not very interested in treats (she does like cheese!). She sleeps in her crate through the night and goes in her crate when fosters go to work. She goes in willingly and is quiet but is so happy when she gets back out!

She likes to follow her person around and is starting to take interest in toys.

A quiet loving home would be her ideal furever.

Other things to know about HHR Carly: HHR Carly is quiet. She has a bark but doesn’t use it often. She does not bark at doorbells and knocks.

Medical/Vetting: Carly needs to be spayed come March.
