Hi! My Name Is Dolly

BONDED PAIR. DOLLY and TRIPP.
Dolly. Female Maltipoo. 7lbs. DOB: 4/15/2015 (😎
Tripp. Male Havapoo. 12 lbs. DOB: 11/11/2017 (6)
Location: Springfield, MO
Adoption Fee: 700

✨Good with cats. Dolly identifies as one.
✨Good with other dogs. Would do best with a companion to show them the way.
✨Will not be placed in a home with children.
✨Shy towards adults but will be trusting of their person.
✨Housebroken and crate trained.
✨Must have a fence, preferably a privacy fence in a quiet neighborhood. (I know it seems very specific. Tripp gets overstimulated easily and they are both flight risks.)

Dolly and Tripp. Reunited besties and will only be placed TOGETHER. They came into rescue from the same breeder. Originally both dogs were placed in separate foster homes. Dolly was doing okay. Tripp was not. Turns out they just needed each other. Ideally their adopter will be near Springfield, MO and can visit a couple times before making the transition. This is due to their anxiety, particularly Tripp’s. Experience with flight risks would be so helpful. I promise they are WORTH IT!

Dolly is Tripp’s security blanket. Gaining Dolly’s trust first will be key to building a relationship with Tripp. If she is feeling comfortable and confident, he follows her lead and walks right by her side. They are looking for a calm, quiet home that has endless love and patience. They thrive on a routine. If the routine is a little shaken, it causes anxieties for Tripp. That can look like hiding, upset stomach, and/or desire to stay in the crate. However, when they are comfortable, you will have happy tails and friends following you everywhere. They are not exactly lap dogs yet, BUT, as trust builds I have no doubt that one day they will prefer cuddling up.

Medical/Vetting: UTD on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Spayed/Neutered. Dentals completed.
