Hi! I'm Mable. I'm a special-needs long-haired Dachsund looking for my forever home. My foster mom says I am beautiful and have the cutest waddle walk, and I agree! I love to snuggle, get belly rubs, and give lots of love. Being 10 years old, I have been told I am a senior, but I keep up with my younger foster sisters. I do have a hearing loss and had many teeth pulled, but it hasn’t slowed me down at all. I still have lots of spunk, lots of life, and lots of love to give. I love to be close to my foster mom; if she's not within sight, I get a bit vocal until I see her. I get along with the other fur babies that are my size and live in the home. I do well with a leash, a fenced-in yard is awesome. I am okay to stay in my crate when my foster mom has to be gone for a bit. I have been left out for a few hours, and I slept most of that time. Oh! I am an early riser. I'm ready to start the day at 7 a.m. I sleep in my foster mom’s bed along with the my foster siblings. I start every morning by going outside to do my business, come in, eat my breakfast, and sometimes I need to go back out. My favorite breakfast is soft dog food with a fried egg on top. Foster mom says it is a special Sunday treat. I love to travel; I get excited while riding in the car. I do feel more secure if I am in my crate unless someone holds me.
