8 pounds of sweet senior man coming at ya!! To Live His Best Life, Mario needs someone to be home with him most of the time and/or another social dog to keep me company and to learn from. Do you love the updates in this group about mill survivors learning to trust? Would you like to experience that yourself? Then, adopt me, Mario! When I first came into rescue, I did not know how to lie down to sleep. I kept tipping over with no cage wall to hold me up. It took me two days to figure out what a bed is for. What you need to know: -Mario is a toothless wonder. His jaw was so fragile that it broken during his dental. Because of this, Mario will need soft food and should not have chew toys. -Mario will also need a home without children or larger dogs bc of his fragility. -Has been gaining weight, but could use another pound or two. -Trouble with depth perception and stairs. -Responds to his name. - Sweet man waits to be picked up – used to do the “flying squirrel” but now will relax while held. Mario's foster family is almost trained to catch me and take me outside or to a potty pad – They have to watch for me going in circles and I go IMMEDIATELY after eating.
